Delete your SnapAI account

This page explains how to delete your account in SnapAI (Android package org.reviewindia.snapai), the app published by Review India, and what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open SnapAI and tap Profile in the bottom bar.
2. Tap Account. (You can also get there from Settings → Account.)
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, tap Permanently delete my account, and confirm once more.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device. The app then starts fresh, without an account.

Ask us to delete it without the app

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email us from the email address you use to sign in, or tell us the WhatsApp number you sign in with:

Email a deletion request

Address: sohosoftech@gmail.com, subject "Delete my SnapAI account". To protect your account, we will check that the request comes from its owner (for example, by sending a code to the email address or WhatsApp number on the account) before deleting anything. We complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email.

If you only used SnapAI without signing in, your account is tied to the app on your phone and we cannot identify it from an email. Delete it in the app as described above, or uninstall the app; the screenshots from an account like that are still deleted automatically after its retention period.

What is deleted

• Every screenshot and PDF stored for your account.
• Every analysis and its result, including saved ones and ones you had already deleted.
• Your Pro Headshots, and any selfie still being turned into one.
• Your reminders, feedback and ratings, usage counts, and your credits and their history — including any top-up credits you bought, which cannot be restored.
• Every original you chose to keep, and the encryption keys that open them — so a copy surviving in a backup is unreadable rather than readable. Your storage record and any extra-storage subscriptions go with them.
• Your subscription status record on our server (not the subscription itself; see above).
• Everything in Money & Savings, if you ever tracked anything: every expense, receipt, bill, budget, savings goal, tracked subscription, wallet, category, merchant rule, alert, report, and every bank-statement import with the rows staged from it. Any statement, receipt or bill file we still held is destroyed before the records that pointed at it.
• Everything in the Business Inbox, if you ever had it: every connected mailbox and WhatsApp number, the mailbox app password (on our side and on Data2Sales AI's), every stored message and thread, anything still waiting to be handed to your phone, your business settings and the files you gave the assistant to learn from (ours and Data2Sales AI's copies), and the plan records. Your CRM leads are held by Data2Sales AI, not by us: what we held was a link to each one, and it goes here — the leads themselves are released with your plan. Your WhatsApp chats live on your phone, not on our servers — uninstalling the app removes them with it.
• Everything in the WhatsApp API, if you ever created a key: every key, every webhook you registered and its signing secret, every send record — including the numbers your own customers were messaged on — and the request logs, with their IP addresses.
• Your referral records, and your invite code, which is retired and never given to anyone else.
• Your public page, if you had turned it on. It goes at once and your handle is released, so the link stops working for everyone.
• Your name, email address, phone number and password, and any pending sign-in codes.
• Your profile details — country, postal address, contact email and WhatsApp number — and your profile photo.
• Your sign-in sessions on every device.
• On the phone you delete from: your history and reminders saved on that phone, your WhatsApp chats, and the text read from your screenshots.

What is kept, and for how long

• A de-identified account record with no name, email address or phone number, which the records below refer to. It is kept, but holds nothing that identifies you.
• The history of your "Use my screenshots to improve SnapAI" choice (on or off, and when), attached to that de-identified record, as evidence of what was agreed.
• Purchase and subscription event records received from RevenueCat and Google Play, kept as billing and tax records for as long as the law requires. Google Play and RevenueCat also keep their own purchase records under their own policies; ask us if you want us to request deletion of your RevenueCat customer record.
• Server logs, which contain your account number but no content, until they are rotated out.
• Your phone's free-credit record. A one-way, keyed hash of your phone's device identifier, with a note that the phone's free sign-up credits were given out and counters of bonus credits earned on it. It contains no personal data and is not linked to your account, and it is kept so that deleting an account (or reinstalling the app) does not give the free credits again.

Delete some data without deleting your account

• One analysis: open it and delete it, or delete it from History.
• All stored screenshots: Settings → Data retention → Delete all my stored screenshots. Your results stay.
• Keep fewer screenshots: Settings → Data retention lets you choose 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, or not to keep screenshots at all. Not keeping them is the default.
• Originals you kept: Profile → Storage deletes them one at a time, or all of them. Deleting an analysis deletes the original with it.
• Money & Savings: any expense, bank-statement import (which takes the rows staged from it), budget, savings goal, bill or tracked subscription can be deleted on its own.
• Business Inbox: removing a connected mailbox or WhatsApp number deletes its stored messages, and its saved password, in that same moment.
• WhatsApp API: revoke a key from the app and it stops working at once.
